Teaching Approach
How I Conduct My Class & My Teaching Style As a passionate STEM educator, I conduct my classes in a highly structured yet interactive manner, ensuring every student not only understands the subject matter, but also masters the art of answering exam-style questions with confidence. My teaching style blends clarity, engagement, and exam-focused strategy — I don’t just teach students what to learn, but how to think and approach problems critically. Each lesson begins with a focused explanation of key concepts, often linked to real-world applications to spark curiosity and deeper understanding. I strongly believe in active learning, so I encourage students to ask questions, participate in mini-quizzes, and apply what they learn immediately through guided practice. Learning Materials & Tools What sets my class apart is the strategic use of high-impact learning materials, including: - SPM Past Year Papers - State Trial Exam Questions (e.g. SBP, MRSM, Johor, Terengganu, etc.) - KPM-issued Question Sets and HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) modules - Specially curated topical exercises based on frequently-tested themes This not only familiarizes students with real exam formats but also helps sharpen their time management and answer precision. I also guide them in dissecting marking schemes — so they learn what examiners are really looking for.
